Katie and her husband Adam moved to Bentonville in October 2010. They have two boys, Anthony who is three and Jimmy who is 14 months. Prior to NWA Katie lived in Arizona, Idaho, Florida, Hawaii, and California. Katie grew up on the island of Oahu. Katie enjoys crafts (scrapbooking, jewelry, sewing, décor, etc.), photography, music, playing games, and shopping. Being with her family, music, chocolate, shopping, hanging out with friends, and being appreciated all make Katie happy. Katie prefers milk chocolate but the occasional dark chocolate is great too as long as it Dove or Ghiradelli. Katie’s favorite food is Italian. Her favorite dessert is plain chocolate ice cream. And her favorite place to vacation is anywhere with her family- especially Disneyworld. Katie’s favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6 (Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths) because it reminds her to always go to the Lord for direction. Katie wants to hug her kiddos more, finish temple work for her husband’s grandparents, and take more family photos this year.
