*Relief Society Challenge- Read through the October 2011 Conference Ensign by March 10^th. 

Mar 8- Mad Hatter Tea Party in celebration of the Relief Society's Birthday TONIGHT!, 3/8, at 6:30 p.m. Wear your most fanciful hat (or any hat!) It will be lots of fun! Childcare provided and Dinner served. Hope to see you there!

Mar 10-General Conference Reading Challenge Brunch.  10:30- 11:30 am @ Angela Folkman's home.  Just to give you an idea of what to look forward to... Crepes, fruit sauce, nutella, bananas, chocolate chips, chocolate sauce, pudding, whipped cream, just to name a few toppings and yummy breakfast bakes and fresh fruit with OJ and milk to enjoy.  Come celebrate with us for working toward our goal of reading the Conference Ensign!

Girls Camp Announcement

Our 2012 Girls Just Wanna Have Funds camp fundraiser has begun!  This year the young women are offering 2 different services: 1) Two hours of spring cleaning in your home for $30.  This is the perfect opportunity to get blinds and ceiling fans dusted, windows washed, floors mopped, etc.  The date for this cleaning spree is Friday, March 23rd.  We hope to get most of you on that day, but additional days will be arranged if necessary.  2) FHE lesson packets, including treats, for 4 consequtive weeks, beginning Sunday, April 8th, for $20.  Please look for flyers and email for further information, or talk Sis. Horrocks or Sis. Graham, the YW Girls Camp Directors

Stake Choir Reminder!!! Tonight!

If you'd like to sing in the choir for Stake Conference, please join us for rehearsals at the Stake Center on Sunday Feb 26 and Sunday Mar 4 from 6-8 pm on both days.  Singers 12 and up are welcome.  We will be singing one song on Saturday, March 10th and three songs on Sunday, Mar 11th.

Feb-9^th- 7:00 p.m. "Keeping Kids Healthy and Warm" !  Just a reminder that our Relief Society Humanitarian Activity is TONIGHT at the Church! We will be collecting items for the NWA Children's Shelter and knitting/crocheting hats and scarves for the children. We will also be cleaning the nursery toys so come enjoy a night of fun and service! We are also looking for donations of yarn and if anyone has knitting needles or hooks that we can borrow, please bring them that evening. Thanks so much Ladies for your service and we hope to see you there! Don't forget to grab some items to donate from the attached list... The Shelter appreciates all your help!

Feb-9^th- 7:00 p.m. "Keeping Kids Healthy and Warm" Service Activity for the NWA Children's Shelter.  We will be having a drive for various items for the Children and will also be knitting and crocheting hats and/or scarves.  Great opportunity to learn how to knit/crochet or dust up on your skills.  We will be taking donations for yarn as well as what is on the list for the NW Arkansas Children's Shelter.  Please let Heidi Kittelson (heidikittelson@gmail.com) know if you know how to knit or crochet or have any supplies that we could borrow for the evening.  Hope to see you all there

Jan 26-Thursday! Stake Garden meeting-"How to have a Successful Garden". 7 pm @ the Centerton Building. The "How to have a Successful Garden" class will cover these main points

1. Have a plan
- things to consider (cost, time, etc)
- commitment
- Arkansas growing season
- tools needed
2. Know your soil
3. Know your pests
4. Organic vs. Natural
5. Water, molds, and mildew
6. Weeds and weed control
7. Companion planting
8. Benefits
- family work ethic
- gaining knowledge
- canning your bounty
9. Heavenly Father's land

She will also answer any questions you may have; maybe you have decided to plant your garden in your yard at home instead of at the church site, and that is fine--you are still invited to attend Gina's class.  Please pass this on to others in other wards who might be interested in learning more about gardening.
