Visiting Teaching

Sisters,

This is the last week before the end of the month. If you have not done your Visiting Teaching, please call your sisters to see how they're doing and schedule an appointment for next month. If you have already done it, please contact your District Supervisors to make your reports. If you don't know who they are or any other questions and concerns please contact me.

Oct 6- Dry Canning 101- 7-8 p.m.- Angela Folkman's home  If you are planning to participate in the event, we need you to email the answers the following questions to Kim Cutting ...

1. Who ordered food storage for dry canning and how much of each item?
2. What supplies do you have (cans, oxygen bags, etc, etc).

October 7th- Fabulous Friday Craft Night, , 6-10 p.m.  Money was due Sunday, but Angela is still taking orders and $ today!! (order form attached)
     Come and have an enjoyable evening visiting with friends!  Didn't sign up to make anything?  No problem!  Just come and visit or bring that project that you have wanted to work on for a long time but just haven't found the time!  Bring a little treat to share and come join in on fun! 

Oct. 29^th- 5:00 pm  Mark your calendars for our Ward Fall Party.  Chili cook-off, games, and trunk-or-treat.  More details to come.

Conference packets... update

Sisters,
The Junior Primary conference packet page breaks were all wrong so on one page you get half of the prior page and half of the next page.  I checked out the nursery packet and it was the same.  The youth and Senior primary ones looked fine.  Another resource I found in the September Ensign is www.conferencegames.lds.org.  Thanks!

The primary will not be making conference packets this year.  If you would like to print off some activities for your kiddos, there are some GREAT packets at http://www.scriptures4kids.com/

There is a packet for Nursery, Junior primary, Senior Primary and Youth.  From the website above, click on the packet you would like to print.  When the new window opens, click on the icon that says "free download".  Then just print!

There are coloring pages, cut and paste activities, seek and finds, space for journaling, puzzles and more!  I hope everyone will take advantage of this fabulous free resource to help the little ones stick around during conference (and even listen!)
